Travel to school and back arrangements will be supervised by Children's Village management to ensure the safety of children. Children's Village contact details will be provided to relevant school authorities to meet any emergency situation Guidance and DisciplineA positive approach to guidance and discipline will ensure recognition and respect of the individual child. Staff work with children to develop self-discipline and achieve positive behaviour. All direction will be performed in a positive way. NutritionNutritional and well balanced meals are provided. Every endeavour is made to ensure that meals are a pleasant and social occasion and that different cultural and religious requirements are respected and accommodated. All staff will be trained in safe handling of food. ClothingStaff wear comfortable, clean clothes. HygieneStaff are required to conduct all routines in a hygienic manner and follow the procedures as determined. EvacuationAll staff are trained in the evacuation procedure. Children will be made aware of evacuation procedures. ImmunisationA record of the immunisation of each child where necessary, will be maintained by the Children's Village management. MedicationQualified staff are the only persons responsible for administering a child's medicine. Medicine may only be administered if in the original container. Child AbuseChildren's Village Management will strictly follow all statutory procedures for dealing with any complaints of abuse of a child in our care. |
